Information Resources and Digital Transformation

The Information Resources and Digital Transformation Committee is composed of the IT directors of all Quebec universities. The BCI’s IT manager also sits on the committee as an observer.

This committee is a space for cooperation and sharing of information and good practices that aim to strengthen the quality of support for information resources, digital transformation and information security at universities. It is also mandated to work transversally with other BCI committees on any project requiring IT expertise in order to optimize practices and facilitate decision-making.

It is responsible for two sub-committees:

1. the Information Security Sub-committee monitors the sharing of expertise and best practices in information security and cyber-security; and
2. the Inter-university Information Resources Collaboration Sub-committee aims to pool information practices and assets and to launch collaborative initiatives and projects.
